"Le style de Matvey est défini comme un surréalisme poétique contemporain.
En tant qu'inventeur d'une méthode de création spontanée appelée réalisme cinématopoïétique, il intègre également le concept d'art parfumé, ajoutant une dimension olfactive à ses poésies picturales."                      

 

Born in 1992 in Moscow into a family of artists.  Having absorbed family artistic traditions, he began to draw from early childhood. During his creative years, he combined artistic practice, studying at the Moscow Art School with the study of literature at Moscow State University. Segal weaves literary and philosophical narratives into the visual fabric of his works. In 2015, he studies and works in creative workshops. The art of conceptualism and the Russian avant-garde had a deep influence on the work of M. Segal.

 

"His style is defined as contemporary poetic realistic surrealism. As the inventor of a spontaneous creation method called cinematicopoetic realism, he also incorporates the concept of perfumed art, which adds an olfactory dimension to his poems."
